Reason why we love it, design details:
The lines on this baby are the sleekest.
While he reminds us of pieces we’ve seen attributed to the iconic Franco-American industrial designer Raymond Loewy for Mengel Furniture, Loewy or not, this series is one of our favorites.
The structure of the piece frames the drawer fronts and a 1+cm gap reveals a recessed body that the drawers sit in.
Drawer fronts have registers of lines cut in to give a simple but striking design that contrast nicely with the organic, wavy woodgrain of the oak.
The shadow of the gap juxtaposed with the outer frame is a dynamic duo that we could stare for days! And the tippy-toe legs planted firmly on the ground are just the cherry-on-top.
The drawers are also some of our favorites, as they seem unconventionally wide and deep.
Matching nightstands have an unheard of **three** drawers, for tucking away all kinds of bits-and-bobs.
Drawers: Wooden runners. Dovetail/Tongue & Groove Drawers. Super clean, like new interiors as detailed in photos.
