PLEASE NOTE: The locks on Lane chests were voluntarily recalled for all models between 1912 and 1987. Lane runs a lock replacement system which we’ve registered for, and we will be receiving a new lock for this piece in the first two weeks of August. The old lock will be replaced before delivery. Beautiful hardwood chest designed by André Bus for Lane, with lovely shape and color, accentuated by svelte legs. Giving the piece a more trim and sleek silhouette. Wood grain is gorgeous. The style of the piece feels mid century modern. Interior is lined with cedar in pristine condition with a fresh, forest scent.
Excellent condition with light signs of wear, specifically several light surface scratches on the top as shown in images.
Lovely bow tie inlay in the front and gorgeous dovetail joints on the chest lid and bow tie inlays on the front facade. Each hinge has original hardware with Lane branding engraved.
Perfect solution if you’re looking for a dresser or other storage space to tidy up your apartment or home. The chest can fits about the equivalent of three drawers full.

The storage compartment by itself is 51" long x 16.5" high x 11.75" deep
While there are many Lane cedar chests on the market, ranging in price from $300-$900+, we haven’t come across many with these legs or the bow tie inlays on the facade. Making this a really special piece!
