Reason why we love it, design details:
Repetition, gravitas and a pinch of tiki-playfulness makes this piece a balanced boy.
Solid Walnut and traditional woodworking joinery gives the piece a classic air; while the rounded-framing around all the drawers and doors, particularly in the way the frame is stacked and repeated three times, is reminiscent of Mid Century bamboo pieces by Paul Frankl — a bit cheeky and fun.
Creamy, Walnut woodgrain highlighted on top and sides.
The solid brass-painted handles have a definite weight to them that, when experiencing the piece, reinforces and reminds of the quality one can expect in a Drexel Furniture piece.
The flat areas of the drawer and door fronts are made of Walnut squares in a checkerboard-type pattern that, again, embrace repetition as design.
Four wheels on the base make it easy to rearrange your room when needed, or remove if you prefer.
Drawers: Metal runners. Dovetail drawers. Clean interiors as detailed in photos.
