Drexel Mid Century Modern Low Dresser Sideboard Great Handles and Brass Pulls Six Drawers

Sold Out

Product Details

Creator: Drexel — Most probably designed by John Van Koert

Period: 1950s-1960s

Place of Origin: USA

Materials: Walnut, Solid Wood Core, Walnut Veneer, Brass Pulls, Painted Metal/Steel Handles

Wear: Excellent, this piece was completely sanded back and refinished. There is as noted in photos a deeper scratch that extends across the drawer fronts. Our carpenter chose to leave this, but please let us know if you’d like him to try and remove it. See all photos for details.

Reason why we love it, design details:

Lovely small brass pulls. Illusion of three small drawers that are actually one shallow top and one deep bottom.

Lovely arched metal handles with cast, painted, rattan/leather-wrap illusion.

Gorgeous arched side “panels” that give the legs a very sculpted look.

Legs are in fact a part of the wood that constructs the sides. These pieces are also beveled, echoing the top’s edges, giving the legs a rounded look.

Delicious, caramely, Walnut grain on the top surface.

Drawers: Wooden runners. Dovetail drawers. Clean interiors as detailed in photos.

Overall Measurements: 56W x 20D x 31H
