Reason why we love it, design details:
Beautiful drawers, with carved registers in left and right. Contrasting with the marble-y woodgrain in the raised, center panel, which, oddly, wasn’t applied on top of a drawer front, but instead inset, more like a handle!
Brass pulls are likely not original to the piece, as the raised center probably served as a handle in the design.
Articulated legs on bottom of drawers and side of desk are Art Deco-ish in their geometric lines, but tapered, giving the piece a Mid Century vibe as well.
Top has color variation on edges that highlights the marble-y look of the wood-grain.
