Available in six finishes that are meticulously hand-finished.

Natural: a single coat of hand-rubbed natural finish that subtly brings out the greys, pinks and blues in the swirly white oak grain.

Beach White: a single coat of hand-rubbed white finish that whitens the veins of the white oak grain and gives the natural color of the wood a milky white finish. Some liken this to a pickled-oak effect or cerused-oak effect.

Chalk White: a double coat of hand-applied matte white stain, then hand-rubbed with a white finish, allowing the wood grain to peek through, but largely giving a smooth, satin white finish. Cyan undertones from the finish, and pink undertones from the white oak.

Night Black: a double coat of of hand-applied matte black stain and then a hand-rubbed black finish, giving a deep, tactile super-ebony finish.

Teak Copper: a single coat of hand-rubbed warm brown finish, giving the wood a bright copper color in the sunlight and a warm terracotta color in the shade.

Inky Ocean Blue: a single coat of of hand-rubbed blue finish that is a deep indigo in softer parts of the white oak and an oceany-blue-green in harder parts of the grain.

The White Oak boasts a palette any hygge enthusiast would appreciate -- a soft, milky cream with undertones of blush and striations of wispy, ethereal gray; a playful whisper of subtle sage green flits in and out underneath the surface colors.

The natural lines of the wood are both contrasted and complemented in our design:

The clean, continuous lines traveling from left to right contrast the wood’s figured undulations--both in the positive mass of the drawer fronts, carrying the ‘painting’ of the wood grain, and in the negative voids outlining the spaces between.

At the base, graduated lines create the ever-so-delightful taper of the rounded, solid oak legs, complementing the softness of both the White Oak’s natural colors and the shapes in the wood’s grain.
