A couple years ago, in an effort to spend time with my dad, I went antiquing with him and found myself enthralled by all the by-gone stuff of yesteryear. It was so similar to all the things we fill our lives with now, just marked by a different time, social circumstance and cultural influence.

In particular, the furniture I found was not only relevant, but almost always better built and more beautiful than what I could afford when buying newly manufactured furniture! I looked at all the dressers, chairs, and tables, days or months away from a landfill, all while factories around the world pumped out new product to meet our ever-growing demand for more things. And that’s how Elää Life was born!

My goal is to bring that perfect piece to your home at a price that is undeniably the best deal you can get for the quality you receive. At the same time, it’s one less item that goes to a landfill, and a piece you can keep in your family for years to come.

I chose the name Elää Life because it sounds beautiful and elää means “to live” in Finnish. Live life to its fullest for you and leave the furniture shopping to me!
